Although Epcot is not world famous for it’s beer, it sure is a thing to point out! Hey, us guys are cool chilling with Disney Princesses and all, but at some point a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do. Have some beers.

If you follow clockwise upon entering the World Showcase, chances are your staggering or seeing spots by the time you reach France, if you have sampled all the selections from each import stop above. If you can make it over to the UK, your in big trouble anyways! The UK is known around for the Fish & Chips and the Beer selection.  Having an actual PUB??  What is this? Did my eyes play tricks on me from the strange brews of Norway and France?

No, you landed in the right place. The Rose and Crown Pub is an awesome stop and hopefully your sober enough to handle at least one more drink before staggering past the Off Kilter band playing down the road. (note to Dad’s – Try not to hit on Alice when you arrive in the UK. Your beer goggles do not need to be working, Yes, we know Alice is hot in that powder blue dress, but beware! Mary Poppins is watching!)

So after downing another Guinness or lager of your choice, if you can actually drink your way around the World Showcase, your a better man than I.  Myself? I have only made it to France and the thought of more wine was enough to end my drinking. Plus I had to have a Chocolate Crepe, so by then I was more focused on food.  Enjoy!

Having a few Guinness in the UK and then sitting and watching Off Kilter or British Invasion while I enjoy them.

My ideal trip, is doing the “Around the World” challenge. It isn’t an official challenge, just something to WDW regulars know about. It is having an adult beverage in every country. I added the “deluxe” challenge, which is having a beer and wine in the countries that offer both. It isn’t for the weak of heart. The best beer of the group in my opinion is the Stella Artois. It refreshes on a hot Florida day.

    Great article Robin.

I love PERONI! I’m an Italian guy who loves Italian beer. But i can get it here in the US not just Epcot, so I guess I should try other stuff.

My Hubby loved the YARD size pints in the UK in the past. He wasn’t with us girls on our last trip, hopefully they still have those when he goes next time.
I loved the wine in France and was able to ‘chill’ while my 7yr old took her time coloring at the KidStop station, by the time she finished I was able to grab another one on our way over to Morocco!

When it comes to adult beverages I almost exclusively drink liquor. BUT, during my travels through the 2012 Food and Wine Festival, leading up to the WDWDads Meet, I found and fell in love with Morocco’s Casablanca beer. It is the best beer I have tasted in years.
