This weekend has seen the launch of a great new book, all about WDW and Florida. It documents ten years of Disney memories through the eyes of a “typical” family from the UK, with affection and humour.
How do I know this? OK, I admit, I wrote it!
Mkingdon’s Tales of Family, Food and Florida is something I’ve been working on for ten years, even though I didn’t know it! Over those ten years, I have captured each one of our Disney trips in the form of a trip report. A decade later, I wanted a way to preserve them forever, and of course allow others to enjoy them to, should they so wish.
As well as offering an insight into the Brits way of doing Disney, I hope you will also find helpful planning tips, or at least learn from our mistakes! Across the years we have ventured further afield too, visiting Daytona, Vero Beach, Naples and the Keys, enjoying the wider delights of the Sunshine State.
This isn’t a guide book in the traditional sense, but it will contain information useful to those planning to visit Florida. It is more of a journal documenting the journey of my two girls from small children to young women, with a constant theme of our vacations, and of course Walt Disney World. I of course, haven’t aged a bit and look exactly the same as I did back in 2003. Don’t believe me? Well, you’ll need to get the book and check out the pictures won’t you!
The book is only available as an e-book, but if you don’t have an e-reader you can get the Kindle app for most devices these days, and read e-books in that way.
Over here in the UK the response to the book has been incredible, and as I type it is currently Number 1 in the Family Travel charts and number 4 in the overall Travel category. Thank you to all those in the UK who have bought it!
I hope you enjoy the book should you be kind enough to read it, and if that is the case then a favourable review on Amazon would be fantastic!

Till the next time….
