SheCon 2012 Expo

Since July, 2009, SheBlogs.org has been connecting an amazingly diverse group of female bloggers with some the best-known and hidden gem brands in the country.In May, 2011, SheBlogs.org went offline for a weekend for the first-ever SheCon New Media & Brand Expo in Miami Beach, FL. From May 20 – 22, 2011, more than 450 women from around the country and around the globe came together for a lineup of educational presentations, networking opportunities, and expo hall mingling with more than 20 sponsor brands who supported our first event.

SheCon ’11 focused on the theme “Foundations,” with beginner, intermediate, and expert presentations that give attendees a new way to look at the foundations of their industry – from technical presentations on Search Engine Optimization to expert speakers presenting on topics ranging from social media ethics to managing online privacy. Our speakers are some of the best-known and highly-regarded experts in their fields, and will offer newbie bloggers and seasoned pros interactive and educational sessions that will leave them with a new understanding and appreciation for the importance of their voices and outlets in the ever-evolving social media landscape.

Because we know that our bloggers aren’t coming to the conference on a corporate card, we’re making the conference as affordable as possible. SheCon ’11 offered free blogger registration, and SheCon 2012 will be offering 3 tiers of conference passes to suit all needs: VIP Founders Badges for all first year attendees (free of cost), Full Conference Passes ($149 cost) and Expo Hall passes (free).
