Basq Product Review

It’s the time of year for spring cleaning. As I clean out the garage and prep the grill for the upcoming BBQ season, I remember being a child and coming home to open windows, a warm breeze and the clean spring air wafting through the room. My mother would hang laundry on the line, bringing that sweet spring scent into our home. The smell of a freshly cleaned pillow case helped put me into a deep sleep. The same deep sleep that I experienced using the Basq Dream Mist from the It’s a Small World line of Basq Skin Care.

After receiving the product the first thing I noticed was the wonderfully designed packaging and the “built tough” glass bottle. The box is designed with artwork by Mary Blair and her impressions of the “It’s a Small World” ride at Disney parks. Which is (minus the song that gets stuck in your head for the rest of the day) one of the most comforting and heartwarming rides at the parks.

The first night I waited till all my buddies had left after watching the game, then sprayed the bedding and pillows of our bed and our 7 year old son’s. The lavender smell is light, pleasant and natural; not at all overwhelming. The spray is a cloud-like mist that lightly covers pillows and sheets. At 4 ounces, the bottle is sure to last for months.

As you lay down the gentle sent of lavender gives the body a peaceful feeling and allows for relaxation. Clearly this product should not be used if sleep is not the end goal of the evening. As a guy I didn’t expect much from the product, but after using it for a few nights I have to admit it really helped me de-stress from the day and get a good night’s sleep.
So if you haven’t already, pick yourself up a bottle of Basq Dream Mist. Yes, it says Mother and Baby on the box, but I’ll be a man and admit it worked on me too. Maybe my wife is right and I am just a big baby. I give Basq Dream Mist two thumbs up and recommend it. If the mist is not for you, be sure to check out their other products as the Basq line is clinically tested for sensitivity and allergies. All products are Parabean-free, SLS free and not tested on animals.
