In less than 8 weeks, my daughters and I will embark on our next Disney adventure. On the schedule: the latest attractions in the New Fantasyland expansion, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler and Villains Bash, MNSSHP, Typhoon Lagoon, DisneyQuest, and the 2013 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. Also, this will be our first time staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort (Wilderness Lodge). This trip should provide a lot of things to blog about. BUT:
You may have noticed that my wife is not joining us on this trip. She is just starting her new career as a teacher and I couldn’t be more proud of her. So, I have the tremendous burden of taking our daughters to WDW alone. (Don’t tell Kim, but going to WDW without a responsible adult chaperone is great!) So, how do I make up for no Mommy? Water Park and DisneyQuest, of course. We have never visited any of the “other” venues, so this is the perfect time to do it. (Also, the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon is probably the only thing I will feel like doing come Sunday morning.)
STOP THE PRESSES!!!:
Kim (aka Mommy) is flying down to spend the weekend with us. She says she wants to watch the girls while I participate in the race, but what she really wants is the:
Pavlova (Crispy Meringue Shell with Fresh Driscoll’s® Berries and Vanilla Custard) and the:
Belgian Waffle with Warm Chocolate Ganache and Whipped Cream and the:
“Le Cellier” Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon with Truffle Butter Sauce and:
(This is the one that induced her to fly down for the weekend)
Crème Brûlée au Chocolat au Lait (Chocolate Milk Crème Brûlée topped with Caramelized Sugar)
There is something for everyone, even picky eaters.

Not only is the food incredible, the Eat to the Beat Concerts are not to be missed. (Night Ranger rocked EPCOT every night while I was there). This is an event every Disney-lover should put on their to-do list.
